PINO Insane Podcast

Martin Pineda Velez, born in Medellin, Colombia, on April 15, 1975. When he was five, his family moved to New York, where he advanced in his education and took the North American culture as his own. The environment in which he lived during those years and the birth of MTV determined his musical vocation. He received an early influence of artists such as Duran Duran, Michael Jackson, The Police, Madonna, Prince, U2, Depeche Mode, Cyndi Lauper, The Cure, Billy Joel, R.E.M and The Clash. Back in Colombia he advanced the career of Automotive Engineering in Bogotá and became familiar with electronics music and the new technologies. His mix of cultural and technological influences and artistic vocation led him to electronic music (especially the Trance and House).Today his specialty is the Progressive House. His passion has led him to study and improve his technique to deliver a unique experience in every one of his live sets. He defines himself as an underground DJ, trying to get the most exclusive and perfect tracks for his sets.
