- From this point on, the Mishkan forms the centerpiece of the Torah. Taking us out of the static dimension of time, Mishkan transports us to the dynamic dimension of space and the interrelationships that space defines. Hence, Mishkan addresses the very sensual and very human need for connection. Terumah is what emerges from the patterns of complexity that permeate all Existence. Recognizing our own coordinates within the bayit of the Universe and the terumah for which it was created, we become conscious of the meaning of our avodah and what we and HaKadosh Baruch Hu can share together.
