Episode Synopsis
In this episode I interview Stephanie Khio who has used cognitive behavioral therapy and somatic healing techniques to cope with her experiences of dissociation. She tells us about her experience of dissociation as a symptom of PTSD, and all of the challenging yet strengthening lessons she’s learned as a result. We talk about ways in which we’ve learned to look at our fears head on, to feel through pain and emotions even when it’s scary, and to check in with our bodies and be our own healers. Enjoy!!
