Then we talk with Zellnor Myrie, a Democratic candidate running for the New York State Senate. Z, who is running against incumbent Jesse Hamilton from the Independent Democratic Conference, tells us what affordable housing initiatives excite him, how he will work to provide for ailing city schools, and how the IDC has failed progressive New York ideals.
