Join us today as we kick off our new series about how to study the bible and why we should study. You'll hear some big words like 'hermenuetics' and the metaphor of two cities and a bridge. Some of this might make zero sense to you and that's okay, that's exactly why we are starting this series--to help you learn how to be a successful self feeder (as we like to call it at Rising Sun).  Over several episodes we will go through the basic tenants of how to study scripture while also helping you not get to bogged down to the point where studying is all your doing.  The Bible is a single story, in a library style format, that leads us to Jesus from beginging to end and it is important that we read it that way with clear strategies and an appropriate lense.
