Listen "Climbing Out Of The Darkness"
Episode Synopsis
Today we’re really going to dive in, my friend. I want to talk to you about what it means to start taking responsibility for the role you play in your own suffering, and how mindbody resilience work is an act of love and compassion toward ourselves. I’m going to get really vulnerable and share about one of my lowest points in my journey, how I pulled myself out of the darkness, and how it was the catalyst to me learning how to thrive. We’ll talk about cultivating self awareness, and the number one mindset that often sneaks into our minds and gets in the way of accessing our empowerment. That’s right, we’re gonna talk about victim mentality, what it is, what it is not, and destigmatize it. I’ll give you tips on how to identify when victim mentality has snuck into your perspective on chronic illness, and give you an exercise you can use as the first step to letting it go. Note: this episode includes a discussion about suicide ideation.Your assignment for this week is to take the role of the watcher. Become a non judgemental observer of your thoughts and feelings.
