Listen "S2 Ep31: The one about courage, strength and resilience "
Episode Synopsis
The one about courage, strength and resilience
As human beings we have a remarkable capacity to be courageous, strong and resilient.
For this episode to kick start a new series of Mojo Matters, I’m flying solo because there’s one every day person that I wish I could interview right now and but I can’t as she’s no longer with us. She is one of the people I truly admire.
So I’m going share parts of her story – the parts I know about – in a hope that it provides some inspiration.
And dedicate this episode to her. In her honour and memory.
Maria Durejko, my Bapcha, my late Ukrainian grandmother. And dedicate it to the people of Ukraine in their most difficult hours. This episode was recorded on day 5 of Putin's invasion of Ukraine.
Because this episode is about strength, courage and resilience.
And how we can all find this within us when faced with the most challenging of times.
Life doesn’t come with a map.
And everyone will experience twists and turns, from everyday challenges to traumatic events with more lasting impact.
As human beings – in part thanks to resilience – we are generally able to adapt well over time to life-changing situations and stressful situations.
I share four ways that you can start to build personal resilience
