Episode Synopsis

The hardest thing to do, is not overcoming the hardships you will face in life, the hardest thing to do, is having the humility to learn the lessons that life,  and for me as believing man, the lessons that God is teaching you about life  through those struggles.  To accept that struggle is part of life, is to admit that your life is not anymore special than your enemy's or worse than your neighbour's.  To soberly wake up to the reality That you just as vulnerable as other people, regardless of whether you're good or bad person by your own estimation or anyone else's.

Accept that the struggles we face are no different from those of the other 7 billion people in the world, takes courage and humility.

The tension begins where we think that our struggle is different.  Where we think our struggle is harder than our friend's and other people.  We wrongly, conveniently and often, tragically think that other people's struggles are easier than yours.

Although there may be some truth to that, but it is not helpful to our emotional experience during hardships. It often leads to Bitterness, resentment and jealousy.  We set ourselves up for discouragement and victimhood.

When we exaggerate our hardships, we undermine our ability to overcome because we undermine ourselves.

No one has overcome a struggle that they consistently exaggerate.  Don't stand in your own through self-pity and wounded pride.

Here are two domains of human operation that Exaggeration of our situation reflects.

1.  The Domain of Defeat, leading to a pitiful vicimization in times of struggle.
2.  The Domain of Resilience. admiration for our resilience against struggles.

Exaggeration of struggles, especially ones that we have not confronted yet, is a good indication that we are not going to do anything about it, should we have to face them.

Whereas an objective reflection on the reality of how indiscriminate struggle is, orients us to prepare for tough times.  Soldiers prepare for war long before the actual.  When the war erupts, it is too late to prepare.  So prepare to war beforehand.

3.  To overcome, we have to entertain the idea that there is a way out. Even though we may not see it in that moment of being overhwelmed or even know what it is. We have to believe in the hope that tomorrow holds for the efforts and commitment we put into today.

When we do this, a new path of thinking is conceived, our intuition begins to extract from our subconscious mind, those possible paths to our destintation.. In consideration of options, we begin to observe new things and slowly we take steps, and these options become a journey that is now desplausible, a journey with favourable destination.

Human beings are created with an incredible ability to conceive things, and bring them to life.  Our ability to imagine means that we can create a lot of our life in our minds.  Most of our time, is lived in our imagination. That is what makes us like God, we posses that element of Him.  The challenge is when we reduce everything to self.

Self-orientations limit everything to you, what you know, what you want, what you don't have and what you want from others. Sadly others become nothing but tool that you can use to achieve what you want.  Self orientations is a pathway that leads to the very same self-limitations, being overwhelmed by the magnitude of life.

Free your mind from self-orientations. Life is greater than the walls of your mind and the rooms of your emotional experiences. The Freedom is borrowing from a world beyond your limited experiences is a super power accessible to anyone who cares to reach beyond their reach through others.

We still have 3 choices.
  a)  Face the situation and go through the difficulty of learning new ways to deal with struggle, take time to go through the difficulty whilst probably loosing a lot of comfort and pleasure.
  b)  Be overwhelmed and give up.
  c)  Look for genuine qualified help from others, or see them as mean
