Here to shed some light on what it’s like to live under the local government of Wrocław, Poland, is Councilman Bartlomiej Ciazynski. He is the Deputy Chair of the city council and Social Advisor to the Mayor of Wroclaw for Tolerance and Counteracting Xenophobia. The city has recently experienced a rise in population to become the third largest city in the country as they welcomed close to 100,000 Ukrainian refugees to their population of approximately 600,000. In this episode, he chats with host Evan Meyer about their policies regarding the discrimination of minority groups and how he proposes expanding their policies to protect the LGBT community. He also highlights the need for regulation regarding information being spread and what’s being taught at schools.
