Why she created a Course
Her 1:1 clients, while amazing, were extremely time-consuming so there was a limit on the number of people she could serve while still giving attention to her other businesses so she started to look into ways in which she could serve a large number of persons without feeling burned out.
The First Step to Course Creation
The first step was to start with the end in mind so she designed her sales page and started to look into hosting sites for her lectures.
How Life Happened
Our business does not happen separate and apart from our personal life. So ofcourse, when my mum passed, this resulted in my Course Creation process being delayed for weeks. Listen to Episode 2 and Episode 3 to find out more.
Pre-launch Strategies for Week 1
Week 1 was spent educating my audience about some of the core topics that I would share in my course to create awareness for the need and to build interest around it. I also created desire by sharing client work and testimonials.
Pre-launch Strategies for Week 2
Week 2 was when I finally announced my course and continued to educate my audience on what they need to run their business using Instagram.
What I did during my 14 days of Course Creation
My course creation process involved me doing market research, reviewing my existing client process, meeting that I would have held with my 1:1 clients, designing slides, recording voice-overs, uploading it on Teachable.com.
Why I told my friend that I'm never doing this again
Creating a course sounds amazing, until you dedicate 14 days to it alone. During this period, I did no 1:1 work and my other businesses got bare minimum attention. I was drained mentally and physically and it was during quarantine so my only recreation was driving to the grocery lol.
