Episode Synopsis

Chris Walker always talks about splitting out the funnel.
It's a simple exercise. Here's how I did it:

I made sure all of our key form submissions were logged as activities in the CRM

I made sure those activities carried over to an opportunity when it's created off that contact

I pulled the total number of forms submissions for each different form within a quarter

I then pulled the total number of opportunities created within that quarter from contacts that submitted that form submission

I then looked at how many of those opportunities qualified

I then looked at how many opportunities from that source were won in the quarter (this allows for the sales cycle to complete from previously generated quarters)


Bam, funnels for every key interaction.
I can now see which forms lead to the most opportunities, the largest opportunities, and the fastest sales cycles.
And now I know how much they're worth, and can start researching how people got there.
Which is going to directly impact what I choose to do each day.
