Listen "James L16 Who Are You to Judge Your Neighbor?"
Episode Synopsis
Send us a textJames 4:11-12 is the Bible text for this sermon entitled, "Who Are You To Judge Your Neighbor?"Judging is the basis of slander, as we see in Proverbs 10:18, “Whoever conceals hatred with lying lips and spreads slander is a fool.” Note what James wrote earlier in 2:8, "If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, “Love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing right.” When we come to Jesus, embracing the converting power of the gospel through the cross, and the Spirit of God is living in us, we give up all claims to judge others. All judging is to be replaced with the royal law!
