Lafi is a creative force who uses art as a means of joy, serenity, education, awareness and social impact. They are currently the Program Manager for The Other Side, a cross-cultural exchange of dramatic storytelling among girls and gender diverse youth; they use their talents in the classroom, and they support the nonprofit. When the pandemic began, they founded Keep It on the DL, a virtual mutual aid project connecting students, educators, parents and caregivers worldwide with valuable resources and links. Making It Here and There is an interview series focusing on ways in which individuals are using communication- across borders and across cultures- to achieve understanding, learning and overall consciousness of the world around us.
