Welcome to the Local Legends in Running Podcast, where you hear the stories from local legends of Australian running, that you’ve simply always wanted to hear. Today in episode 19, I interview Gold Coast and Brisbane runner, Liam Boudin. Liam burst onto the running scene as a young adult back in 2016 after graduating from Brisbane School, Villanova. It hasn’t always been smooth sailing for Liam; he is has faced set backs both off and on the running track, so to speak. Liam discusses honestly the fact that he was a late bloomer; literally continuing to grow taller all the way through to the age of 22. During this time and after he has faced several stress fracture related injuries. Fortunately Liam has been almost injury free over the last year or so, and as a result of his hard and consistent training with the Gold Coast Run Co , has seen major wins including the recent Bridge to Brisbane 10k. So as always, kick and relax, and enjoying hear about Liam’s Bridge to Brisbane win, his injury set backs and more recently his training and success as a high performing Gold Coast Run co runner.
