In spite of all this, obesity rates, heart disease, and even diabetes are on the rise. What is going on with all of this? In today’s episode, I am speaking with personal trainer, fitness coach and overall wellness expert Helena Smolock where we dive into all things health and wellness, and specifically what is going on that in spite of all the information and ease of access of information to health and wellness, overall health continues to decline. Is health a priority in today’s world? The world has clearly shifted where modernization, the hustle culture and even the Covid pandemic has dramatically impacted people’s overall health and well-being. We are no longer a movement culture, but have become a sitting culture. And the common saying nowadays is that sitting is the new smoking.
