Listen "Episode 11 - Fear of Failure"
Episode Synopsis
In this episode I will be talking about fear, specifically THE FEAR of FAILURE.
I will:
DESCRIBE what fear is and HOW it is created
Go over what our PRIMITIVE BRAIN is trying to do when we FEEL FEAR
WHY we really have fear or specifically what we make FEAR OF FAILURE MEAN
TEACH how we can OVERCOME THE FEAR OF FAILURE and
Go over an activity to identify our fears and how to overcome the fear of failure
Listen how fear is created by our thoughts and also comes from the primitive part of our brain that wants to protect us. Most of our fears come from what we think others will think of us if we fail and what we make it mean IF we do fail. We can overcome fear by recognizing it, understanding why our brain does it, describing the feeling and being ok with discomfort, and knowing failure is part of the deal when working towards success, our goals, dreams and ambitions.
The feeling of fear or the fear of failure does not mean something has gone wrong or something is wrong with us.
We need to fail forward and double, even triple, our rate of failure to have success.
We are meant for great things and our possibilities are endless!
Don’t let others opinions, fear, and fear of failure be a barrier to our own success ladies!! You’ve got this!
