The European Parliament’s Women’s Rights Committee voted 26 to 12 in favor of a new pro-abortion plan called “My Voice, My Choice.” The plan pushes for expanded abortion access across all European Union nations — even using taxpayer money to fund abortion travel. 



Supporters say women can’t be equal to men without abortion, and that protecting unborn children somehow discriminates against women. 



But that couldn’t be further from the truth. Abortion is not about equality; abortion takes the life of an innocent child.  



Real equality means recognizing the dignity of both mother and child. Expanding abortion throughout Europe is a tremendous civil rights violation, not a victory for equality.
