Listen "Getting to Know Your Customer Through Direct-to-Consumer Model: Julie McClure"
Episode Synopsis
Julie McClure is the CEO and Founder of Hello.Me, a brand focused on helping women take back control of their hormones so that they can get back to looking and feeling their best. Hello.Me’s innovative, science-backed supplement products solve for the root cause of wellness & beauty challenges - hormonal balance. Julie’s own personal experiences became the springboard for her mission to help others and she prides herself on championing women in the entrepreneurial and femtech spaces.
In this episode, Nada sits down with Julie to discuss why she founded Hello.Me. Coming from Wall Street, Julie realized her work schedule was exacerbating her declining health. In her journey for health, Julie became passionate about educating and empowering women to understand the role of balanced hormones in their overall health. Julie left the finance industry and eventually launched Hello.Me.
Hello.Me is a direct-to-consumer company and since this season of LIBERTY for Her is all about retail, Nada and Julie deep dive into navigating a DtC model.
Julie recognizes that the DtC model is in a good space right now, people aren’t afraid to search for a product they are looking for. She shares how DtC brands are able to really understand their customer and create new products based on the customer’s feedback.
This episode is filled with some helpful insight if you are considering launching a retail brand or expanding into DtC.
