Magnesium and Selenium are essential minerals that are very important for fertility (hormones), strength and overall immunity.
Types of Magnesium
- Oxide: easily digested, not easily absorbed unless chelated
- Citrate: easily absorbed, commonly used with kidney stones and calming, notably laxative effect
- Malate: easily absorbed, less laxative effects, commonly used for people with chronic pain (fibromyalgia)
- Taurate: can help regulate blood sugar and help with a healthy blood pressure
- Glycinate: good for anxiety, insomnia and muscle spasms
- Sulfate: best topically (salts, lotions, etc)
