008: Today on the podcast we are talking to Herman "Art" Taylor. Art is President and Chief Executive officer of the BBB Wise Giving Alliance, an organization focused on strengthening public confidence in charities by promoting wise giving and trustworthy charity practices. As head of the Alliance since 2001, Art oversees all aspects of the organization’s work, which includes setting standards and evaluating charities according to their level of impact, as well as promoting charity accountability and providing guidance to all types of donors, including individuals, corporations, and the government, to make informed choices in their giving. He also hosts The Heart of Giving Podcast, which you can listen to on all podcast platforms. 
 
In this episode, we touch on all topics related to nonprofit work, what brought him to the nonprofit sector, where he sees the future of charitable giving going in the 21st century with AI and decreased confidence in institutions, and how all types of people can give back in some way, whether it is their time, resources, or voice.
