I just wanted to touch on a couple things today specifically about food waste - focusing on ways to minimize wasting food and solutions that do not include landfills. So, I thought that it would be a good opportunity to talk about food waste uhm it’s a really big and important topic because if you are sending food to landfills to rot, it basically releases methane. An extremely potent greenhouse gas. This in turn can contribute to climate change. And methane is 20x more powerful than carbon dioxide in the greenhouse capabilities.
