Episode Synopsis
Send us a textThis episode features Ann Shivas. Ann is a talented osteopath practicing in Montreal and currently into the practice of epigenetics and functional medicine. Ann was a competitive athlete and played professional women’s soccer in Australia. As a redshirt athlete with team Canada she broke her tibia and partially tore her ACL. She consequently suffered a full ACL tear. Her road back was long and challenging, and lead to her eventually playing rugby at an amateur level which gave her the confidence to give soccer a try once again. She consequently tore her ACL again and her professional athletic career came to completion. She turned to academics and completed a master’s degree in teaching and then found osteopathy. Her story is not uncommon, but rich with internal reflection and learningIf you liked this EP, please take the time to rate and comment, share with a friend, and connect with us on social channels IG @Kingopain, TW @BuiltbyScott, LI+FB Scott Livingston.
