Just a few years later, he stepped behind the bench as head coach, launching a remarkable 40-season journey that would define both his career and the program.Across four decades, Jack led BU to three NCAA titles, 24 NCAA tournament appearances, and 897 wins—the third-highest career total in NCAA history at the time of his retirement in 2013.
