In this EP we talk to two of ACWICT’s senior instructors who also happen to be experienced freelancers with over a combined decade's worth of experience working online about the growth of the Digital Freelancing space, the role that is playing in scaling up the gig economy, and how women and youth can be able to thrive in an increasingly demanding and competitive space, we also take some time to share our respective journeys into freelancing, lessons we learned early in our path and what we believe is the future of Digital Freelancing.
Finally, we also touch on what the Government can do to support Digital Freelancers which includes Digital Freelancing friendly tax rates, Health insurance, setting up retirement fund opportunities and supporting local BPOs to scale up in size and in turn hire more women and youth
desperately looking for an opportunity.
