Dr. Heather Backstrom is an accomplished executive coach, facilitator, author and speaker. She is passionate about cultivating empowered women leaders. She has coached leaders in many industries including finance, biotech, retail, municipalities, aerospace, media, healthcare, and nonprofits.

She is the author of the women’s leadership book, Collaborative Confidence: How women leaders can activate self-awareness, amplify their authentic talents, and accelerate workplace change.

Heather enjoys traveling and has floated on the Dead Sea, walked on the Great Wall of China, and ridden a hot air balloon above Stockholm. She’s a long-time volunteer with the Tournament of Roses Association and often spends New Year’s Eve on overnight duty in preparation for the Rose Parade. She ran in one marathon and that was enough.

She earned a doctorate in organizational leadership from Pepperdine.
