Kendra, RVT, chats with members of the Missouri Veterinary Technician Association about the proposed mid-level practitioner role in veterinary medicine. All parties are in agreement this would be a huge step forward at some point in time, but that time is not now. Currently, there are more pressing matters such as title protection, standardization & scope of practice that need to be resolved first.
