Why is sincerity and worshipping with full purpose of heart important? We dig into a single verse 1 Chronicles to explore an answer. Salvation is a gift God offers at no cost to us. However, he does ask for something from us: our sincere desire to try and do the right thing. He wants our hearts. He requires that we strive to do the right thing, to keep his commandments, to love others and to love him. But we have to do it WILLINGLY. We cannot fake it. He knows our efforts will be insufficient and imperfect. But he's OK with that. As long as we are doing things sincerely and with our whole hearts.
