Last Saturday was declared here in Spain a 15-day national lockdown to battle coronavirus. Since the start of this quarantine the sound of the city have dramatically changed and become more “quieter”. There is a different soundscape and I´ve noticed deeply, even since I live in a place that is significantly quieter than Barcelona city center.
I decided to record as a sound diary of this experience with daily recordings from my studio in the Serra de Collserola natural park.
