Episode Synopsis

What we are not fuxing with in today's episode is the vitriol directed to the Uppity Black Woman from the Black Man. We assess what are some possible causes of this vitriol and whether it is possible to move forward from what seemingly is a glee by the Black Man in witnessing the destruction of the Uppity Black Woman. We will also go deeper into the Bell Hooks definition of what Uppity means. In Part 2, what we are not fuxing with is the idea of "professionalism." We define the word professional for the Uppity Black Woman, and stress the importance that Uppity and Professional are not mutually exclusive (hint: professional is another word for palatable). We'll examine an incident with a White Woman (as opposed to a Woman who happens to be White) who made clear for me that using the label "professional" with all the accoutrements is not a protective cloak for the Uppity Black Woman. If you are an Uppity Black Woman, ready to say: I.Can't.Fux.With.You!
