You can practice recording your voice on your laptop, most laptops, computers, phones, have a way of recording audio now and playing it back. So why not start there? Why not learn and see if you like it. Remember here we are talking about an introduction to podcasting, so let's practice. Let's learn how to podcast without paying any money at first, don't dive right in and buy all the specialist equipment becauseyou may end up:  A, not enjoying it. B, not wanting to do it yourself, and C, not having the time to do it. And if you've gone out and bought all the equipment, you'll be left with that equipment and have spent the money for no.
