With over 12 years of experience, Nydia has made a name for herself, starting off at the age of 18 as an artist for one of the biggest company names in the world, MAC Cosmetics. She followed her dream, working for 5-time Emmy award-winning makeup artist (The Today Show, The View) EVE PEARL who was the reason she pursued a career in makeup over a decade ago.
Nydia is also a celebrity and published makeup artist whose work has been featured on television, The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, NYFW, The Miss Universe Organization and more.

She opens up about:
Identifying imposter syndrome on this journey and what Nydia had to do to work through it
That self-care and boundaries help fuel your own cup, enabling you to really focus on what you want, while feeling good and enjoying the process
Balancing celebrating yourself and being proud of your wins without coming across as arrogant
Transitioning in your business journey during unstable times, while staying true to your own purpose, your beliefs and your authenticity
Nydia shares so honestly in this episode, that her authenticity and humanity in this field shine through. She helps us feel like we are not alone in the very human journey behind becoming a beauty entrepreneur.
“I was just constantly working, constantly crying, constantly overwhelmed, and I was at a point where I wasn't seeing results because I was just stretching myself so thin. Taking those Sundays off for church or rest was like such a lifesaver. It sounds so simple, but it was so life-changing.”
