This Goddess is creating a wave in more ways than one!
Jaz is a fourth-year Sociology Major and Africana Studies minor at San Diego State University. She is more than just her collegiate journey towards obtaining a Bachelorβs degree. Jaz currently holds a position in the Center for Intercultural Relations as a Diversity Peer Educator, creating programs rooted in creative, erotic, and Black power through open mics and workshops. Further, Jaz is the co-founder of Black 365, social justice and equity organization that was created to establish empowerment, unity, and pride amongst the WHOLE spectrum of the Black community. She also will soon be embarking on a new collegiate journey starting Fall 2020 at SDSUβs Community Based Block Social Justice and Multi-Cultural Counseling Program. Besides her student work, Jaz is a poet who has performed at a multitude of events in San Diego including TEDxSDSU Momentum.
