Listen "Find Restoration of Strength from God"
Episode Synopsis
"And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast." – 1 Peter 5:10Suffering is temporal. It is common to all in different forms. Whatever struggle you have, in the eyes of faith, is under the sovereign hand of God. It is unpleasant but will work for you because God's grace is always sufficient. Peter described God as the God of all grace. This knowledge of God is vital to your relationship with him. You are confident that God will supply you with grace, especially in times of difficulty. Difficulties can weaken, exhaust, or discourage you. Not just emotionally but also mentally and spiritually. It is good to find an outlet, catch fresh air, and get some time to rest. However, the problem is still there, so one of the best approaches is to know what God is doing in your life. One of God's purposes is for you not to rely on your limited strength but on Him. By relying on God, He will restore you to greater strength when you practice surrendering your thoughts, emotions, and will, particularly during difficult times.Find restoration of strength from God when going through difficult times. When Peter denied Christ three times, Peter suffered a lot. He fell into the devil's lure, not knowing the degree of the condition surrounding Jesus' immense suffering. Betraying His Lord must have created excruciating pain and unending sorrow for Peter. He might have lost direction, been ashamed of himself, discouraged, and felt guilty. But not long after Jesus’resurrection, He restored Peter, who learned that suffering could make us strong, firm, and steadfast. All because of God's grace. Find restoration of strength from God when going through difficult times. Look at them as an opportunity to become a stronger and more reliable person by His grace. And because of God's grace, you can also help and encourage others.May "the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast." Amen!
