My Head Should’ve Been In Washington! As I beam with pride on Inauguration Day 2021 when Joe Biden and Kamala Harris take the oath of President and Vice President of the United States, I am reminded of a saying from my great grandfather about him being smart enough to be in Washington DC. Today, we discuss the Black Girl Magic of Vice President Kamala Harris and her historic accomplishment as the first Black and South Asian Woman to ever hold that office. My great grandfather knew one day we as a people would be in Washington DC! It’s a celebration of American History, Black History, and our history!
