In this week’s edition of Gateway to Africa a flag is to be hoisted on Mount Kilimanjaro this month to popularise dot Africa, Africa’s official domain name; and adventurer and philanthropist Kingsley Holgate and his team have arrived back to South Africa after a successful expedition to the Horn of Africa. As is the case with every other expedition he undertakes, again they distributed mosquito bed nets to mothers and children and eye glasses to people with poor sight. He talks to us about the terrain they had to travel and the highlights of their Extreme East Expedition.
