In this week’s edition of Gateway to Africa, senior reporter Fazila Dahall takes us on a trip to Saudi Arabia where the country has held its first Archeology Convention and she talks to Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, head of Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage. In this interview he reveals some archeological findings link Saudi Arabia and Africa in early civilization. Dahall also spoke to Dr Abdullah Azarhani, the director of Archeological Studies in the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage. Also in this programme South Africa’s minister of tourism talks about an exchange programme that has seen 60 tourism graduates from across South Africa recently being sent to the US on 12 month internship programme.
