With the Holiday season driving you crazy, it’s probably a good time to distract yourself with a Special Holiday edition of Foosball Radio. I’m sure you probably know of the Bart O’Hearn Memorial Foosball Tournament in Austin, Texas. Maybe you even make it a ‘must play’ event every year. Nineteen years of the Bart O, with the 20th annual coming up in July of 2020. Sadly, the heart and soul behind the Bart O, Joe Koonce, passed away in November of this year. Joe made the Bart O what it is, ironically, the worlds only foosball tournament devoted to recognizing fallen foosball players. We share our sincerest sympathies with Joe’s family, relatives and foosball family. Ben Kempner is the new Tournament Director and is working hard to meet the challenges of running the Bart O. Now, it’s time for us to band together to help support this special annual foosball event.
