Episode Synopsis "A Taste of Lebanon with the Beirut Groove Collective"

For this, the very first FINE+RARE podcast, writer and broadcaster Gavin Lucas chats to Ernesto Chahoud and Natalie Shooter, two of the three members of the Beirut Groove Collective – a Beirut-based trio who specialise in researching, discovering and celebrating the music of Lebanon and the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region at large. The collective is known for bringing largely lost Lebanese sounds from the 60s, 70s and 80s to light through their regular clubnights, radio shows, editorial features, book chapters, and also a brilliant album reissue project in collaboration with BBE Records.
