However, given that the criminal justice system suffers from many efficiencies and errors, could artificial intelligence aid the efforts of police, prosecutors, and other actors tasked with protecting public safety with limited resources? Given the power of A.I. technologies to find proverbial needles in haystacks and identify patterns that would otherwise be overlooked, it is not surprising that some criminal justice agencies are already deploying these tools.
