Silicone Boone is a songwriter and recording artist from Campbellsville Kentucky. Boone spent the early years of his childhood in the Amish church where he was never allowed to listen to much in the way of music. In his 20s he discovered the work of Carl Sagan which he describes as a kind of conversion experience which, in part, inspired the making of his first solo album The Reaches, a concept album about space, exploration, and existence.
