This case arises out of the Central District of California.The issue was whether the claimant had been totally disabled during entire elimination period.This is the oral argument in the Court of AppealsHere, the trial court decided that the claimant did not prove his right to Long-Term Disability (LTD) benefits. The key issue was whether Atanuspour couldn't perform his job as a sales manager from August to November 2019 due to illness or injury. The trial court court found his medical records insufficient to prove total disability, especially since his records did not support a total disability from a mental disorder beyond October 4, 2019, and his lumbar condition didn't show total disability before October 23, 2019.
