In the last year, over 1.5 million working moms left their jobs due to the overwhelming responsibilities of being a mother, employee, and wife, all at the same time in the same space. But, leaving their jobs didn't decrease the overwhelm, it intensified. 
As a working mom of 4 young girls, I could only imagine what some of the working moms around the world were going through, as I was having my own share of overwhelm and stress managing everything on my plate. But, what got me through those moments were the comforting words of Philippians 4:19 (NIV), "and my God will meet all your needs." From overcoming postpartum depression and going through a pandemic, I had to rely on the words of that scripture to gain the peace and understanding that I was not alone and that God was and continues to stand with me through it all. I just need to rest in Him.
