She has authored peer-reviewed articles related to cord blood and cord tissue stem cells and presented at industry conferences on subjects related to stem cells banking and use for regenerative medicine.

These units may be used for transplantation, which includes ViaCord’s directed donor banking program The Sibling Connection, or FDA approved clinical trials. She is also responsible for exploring the utility of cord blood and tissue stem cells through R&D collaborations.
Outside of the stem cell world, you’ll find Kate spending time with her husband and two young kids, out for a run with her dog Ringo, playing tennis, enjoying live music, or cooking up a storm in the kitchen!
