Guest: Jennifer is a 7th Grade English, history, and yearbook teacher at Compton Jr. High School in Bakersfield, California. Jennifer has presented at local and national conferences as well as district-level professional development. In 2016, Jennifer became the first Kern County educator accepted to the prestigious Google Innovator Academy. As a #Mex16 Google Innovator, her project was to teach others how to create yearbooks in Google Slides. Most recently, Jennifer has been training educators on how to develop school yearbooks on Google Slides. In this interview, we cover the following:
