Episode Synopsis "All about Responsible Travel, Travel Privilege, and Social Work with Sojourner"
Sojourner from The Sojournies and I met years back on social media. She had just completed Fulbright and was also a college student like me. I was seeking friends who were traveling like I was and finding ways to do it for free. Sojourner completed a Fulbright and also participated in AmeriCorps! She's traveled extensively and now works full-time as a social worker. She ties in racial injustice, social issues, and responsible travel tips into everything she says and puts out. How did she win these opportunities? What are some other ways to go on funded trips? If these are some questions you have in your head, then you've come to the right place!
