Episode Synopsis "Episode 6: Intermezzo - news and the scrolling generation"

Many news organizations indicate that it is difficult to reach young people - say between 18 and 28 years old. It is hard to interest them in news and engage them. This can be a problem - after all, they are the audience of the future. In this episode, Temi and Mijke therefore analyze the motivations and news use of young people. They share the results of a small-scale survey on news consumption, completed by the first-year students of the International Bachelor of Communication and Media at Erasmus University Rotterdam.
