So, let's think about super apps, is this what's breaking some of FAANG powerbase?


I started hearing the term super app over the last few months whilst listening in on commentary around Elon and Twitter.

I have this saying, "everything happens for a reason" but "the reason may not ever be obvious to us all".

So, here's the thing.

Big tech companies like Google and Facebook are broken, and TikTok is on the assertion but hiding a trojan horse.

So here's the thought, TikTok is coming out of #china, getting the whole of China to us one super app is going to be reasonably doable, all 1.4B people, but all those 1.4B will have connections around the world, that why were all using TikTok.

The growth of the app like TikTok is due to a mathematical principle called Metcalfe's rule btw (how networks grow).

Now, lets think, the reason why Elon has bought Twitter, and alongside this he also he know payment systems, all points to an opportunity to build the Western worlds super app, to challenge the app that will evolve out of TikTok, WeChat....

I think whats not being discussed yet, why? no idea, is could we see The super app's that Twitter or TikTok build completely change how people shop and buy and how businesses market and advertise?

I think so.

Would be interested in your thoughts, is my thinking wrong, off target, have I not yet got the right reason yet?
