JOIN THE DAD THE MAN FACEBOOK GROUP --> CLICK HERE <-- or visit https://www.facebook.com/groups/dadthemanRory is the Director of Business Development and Athlete representative at Mayhem Nation, where he works alongside the CrossFit goat himself, Rich Froning. Before working with Mayhem, Rory was well known publicly through his role as Media Director and on-camera personality for CrossFit and the Host of the CrossFit Games from 2010-2017. Rory was instrumental in the viral growth that CrossFit experienced, and he accumulated a wealth of industry knowledge and experience during those years, before ultimately being let go by the organization. During our conversation we talk about the impact of this life transition, the importance of faith during that time, and the identity struggle of rediscovering himself away from CrossFit. Simply put, Rory is a stud. He has a really approachable charisma that makes you feel like you've known him forever the first time you speak. Above it all, he is an incredible man, husband, and father, and it was an honor to host him on the show.DISCUSSION POINTSRory reflects on his childhoodStaying close with your siblingsFirst generation AmericanKicking booze75 Hard as a husband and dadSaying noTranslating 75 Hard with your kidsBattling testicular cancerStrength in faithRaising a family of faithRebranding yourself Time spent is more critical than anything else Advice to my younger selfWhat do you stand for?Wild at Heart by John Eldredge What Rory struggles withWhat Rory is the most proud of so far in his life
