Listen "does everyone deserve kindness? with Amal Kassir"
Episode Synopsis
This week we sat down with the incredible award winning poet, activist and, of course, cultural misfit, Amal Kassir. This conversation took us back to the essence of humanity and what it may need to survive. From approaching racists, as minorities, with openness and contemplating what causes evil to grow in a person, to discussing the language of emotion and Amal's experience of the Syrian revolution as a member of the Syrian diaspora, we sure kept our promise to delve deep.
Trigger warning: there are discussions of war, violence, and rape in this episode.
