Keeping in Step with The Gospel - Galatian 2:11-14

The truth of the matter is that the Church of Jesus Christ easily divides over secondary issues. How did Paul deal with the threat of division in the churches of Galatia? Standing firm in his deep conviction that the Gospel has made Jewish and Gentile believers one, he pointed out three reasons why Peter should not have separated himself from Gentile believers.

First, it is succumbing to the fear of men.
Second, it caused others to hypocritically separate as well.
Third, it is out of step with the truths of the Gospel.

Therefore, our deep conviction that the Gospel has made the Church one should keep every believer in fellowship with other believers, even when differences arise.
